Are you ready for birth?
Pregnancy can be an exciting yet overwhelming time, especially if you’re feeling uncertain about what lies ahead. You’re not alone—many expectant moms share these feelings. The good news? A doula can help you navigate this journey, offering personalized support that leads to greater confidence and better outcomes for both you and your baby.
Countless scientific trials examining doula care demonstrate remarkably improved physical and psychological outcomes for pregnant and postpartum moms, families and birthing folks and their babies. Doulas have a positive impact on the well-being of the entire family- not just the person giving birth!
Families who use doulas are:
-
more likely to have a vaginal birth
-
less likely to need any pain medication
-
less likely to have negative feelings about their birth
-
more likely to have a shorter birth
-
less likely to need vacuum or forceps
-
less likely to need a Cesarean delivery
-
more likely to have babies with higher APGAR scores
-
are less likely to experience postpartum depression
