Virtual Childbirth Education
Should I take a Childbirth Education course, or hire a Doula? Why not both!
A childbirth education course equips you with essential knowledge about labor, delivery, and postpartum, helping you feel more confident and informed.
A birth doula complements this by providing continuous emotional, physical, and informational support tailored to your unique needs. Together, these resources help you approach childbirth with confidence, reduce anxiety, and improve overall outcomes for you and your baby.
Is childbirth education class really worth it?
By taking a childbirth education course, parents gain valuable tools to manage labor, understand medical procedures, and advocate for their preferences in any birth setting.
Building a deeper understanding of labor, postpartum, infant feeding and newborn care can relieve feelings of uncertainty or fear of the unknown, allowing parents to experience a smoother transition into parenthood.
Upon completing this course, you will:
-
Be able to model multiple labor positions.
-
Be able to perform multiple pain management techniques.
-
Understand common interventions and formulate an individualized plan of action for each intervention.
-
Feel confident and empowered to navigate the journey of labor, postpartum, infant feeding and newborn care.
